“I am a product of Hawaiʻi. Born and raised. My family were ballroom dancers. I fell in love with dance and Hula at an early age.
“Oni Foundations mission is to keep cultural arts in the public eye and consciousness – If it is not shared with the world it can be lost.
“I live to share the beautiful dance and music of Polynesia and the various cultures that make Hawaii home, that makes me me, that makes us us. Hawai'i’s mixture of cultures and identity blends us all into ohana.”

Madelyne Pascua & Ann Cua
(More info coming soon!)
Great organizations are built on visionary leadership and robust governance. It is with immense joy and optimism that the Oni Foundation officially welcomes these two outstanding community leaders to our Board of Directors.
Both women bring an extraordinary wealth of specialized professional experience, deep-rooted local knowledge, and an unwavering passion for public service that will be instrumental as we guide our foundation through its next major era of growth.
Madelyne Pascua joins our board as a highly accomplished non-profit Certified Public Accountant (CPA). In her new role, Madelyne will step into leadership as our in-house financial auditor and strategic consultant. Her precise analytical eye and deep understanding of non-profit compliance will ensure we operate with the highest standards of fiscal responsibility. This expertise arrives at a critical juncture as we actively scale up our fundraising efforts, securing major competitive grants from elite institutions such as the Hawaii Tourism Authority, The Vilcek Foundation, the County of Maui, and the Hawaii Community Foundation.
We are equally privileged to welcome Ann Cua, whose illustrious career with the Maui Planning Department brings an invaluable asset to our executive team. Ann will be stepping up to help steer our vital Facility Task Force. As the Oni Foundation looks toward the future, we are working diligently on expansive strategic plans to secure, design, and optimize permanent physical facilities for our growing cultural and educational programs. Ann’s unparalleled mastery of local zoning, urban planning, and community development will provide the precise map we need to turn our architectural dreams into reality.
