Museum Galleries & Tours

We offer guided or self-tours of our unique cultural museum that takes you through the history of Hawai'i. The exhibits reveal each culture's influence on dance, music, and life through costumes, implements & instruments. Museum tours are available during normal operating hours and can be included in private events.

Wonderful World of Aloha Cultural Center offers a unique and immersive experience across 4,000 square feet, featuring three galleries that showcase rich cultural heritage and a 1,400-square-foot dance floor complete with a stage. Whether you’re planning a corporate gathering, a special celebration, a wedding party, or even a field trip, this versatile space can comfortably accommodate groups of 40 guests with tables and chairs included.
 

Groups have the option to enhance their event with cultural entertainment and activities, making it more than just a gathering. Choose from a variety of options ranging from one to three hours, and enjoy live cultural performances that last from 30 minutes to one hour. The center offers craft-making workshops where guests can create flower leis, ti leaf bracelets, kukui nut jewelry, or learn lauhala and coconut weaving. For those interested in dance, lessons are available in Tahitian, Hula, Filipino, Korean, or Paniolo Line Dancing. Guests can also participate in music lessons, learning to play the ukulele or the rhythmic beats of Tahitian or Korean drumming.  


In addition to these enriching activities, a guided tour of the Migrations Museum offers deeper insights into cultural histories. The venue provides full lighting, sound systems, and refreshments to ensure your event is complete and memorable.

About The Space

The Wonderful World of Aloha Center is 4300sf dedicated to the multicultural story of Hawai'i. Our unique Migrations Museum is a journey through Hawai'i's history. Our dance and performance space provides features a 12'x24' stage, and sound system. We live performances, and host a variety of cultural dance activities, craft workshops corportate gatherings, private parties, and community functions.

Our Location

We are conveniently located in Central Maui across from the Maui Beach, Maui Seaside and Hampton Hotels. The Wonderful World of Aloha is in the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center in Kahului. We are upstairs on the second level next to Fun Factory. There's ample free parking, a food court and restaurants offering local favorites and  a variety of shopping opportunities, including farmers market on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. 

Our Offerings

We invite community practitioners from every cultural background to consider partnering with us to use our location for future events and activities. We provide a rain-or-shine, intimate and accessible space to present and share cultural dance and arts and other community events. We can provide seating and tables, guided museum tours, even live dance performances.

We are LGBT+ founded and are a welcoming and informal place for everyone.
