Step Into History: Discover Our New Virtual Museum Tours Powered by Stqry

The walls of a museum should never limit the reach of the stories kept inside them. Driven by this philosophy, the Oni Foundation is thrilled to announce that our cutting-edge Virtual Museum Tours will be coming soon to screens all around the world! Powered by the innovative Stqry application, this new digital platform will allow anyone, anywhere, to experience a rich, self-guided tour of our celebrated Origins Museum Experience right from their smartphone, tablet, or computer.

The Stqry application completely redefines what a virtual museum visit can be. As you navigate through our digital galleries, you will be treated to enhanced historical narratives, deep-dive audio commentary, archival photographs, and exclusive video content that brings each artifact to life. To make the experience even more engaging, the app features an interactive quiz system. As you learn about the complex history and migrations of Hawaii, you can test your knowledge, earn custom digital badges, and unlock special rewards and real-world opportunities to participate in our premium live activities.

Beyond being a fun, educational tool for the general public, this virtual tour will serve a profound structural purpose. It is designed to become the core technical foundation of our upcoming Cultural Ambassador curriculum. By digitizing our knowledge, we can train future generations of educators and practitioners with unprecedented consistency, ensuring Hawaii’s history is preserved accurately. Keep an eye on our newsletter for the official download link, and get ready to explore history on your own time!
